Capt. Erie Peeples has spent his whole life on the water, fishing and surfing. Erie has over thirty years experience hand crafting surfboards.  So, with his love for crafting things and his love of fishing and knowledge of the canals and backwaters of New Smyrna Beach, this led to Erie making baits that he "just knew" would work. Then before long the word was out all over New Smyrna Beach that Erie was making some "Nasty" must have baits.  

So there you have it. Not only are Nasty Strike Baits hand made in the United States, Nasty Strike Baits are hand made, by renowned surfboard shaper, fisherman, and a New Smyrna local.
